We took Rachel and Adam’s Guelph engagement photos in Riverside Park, only a few minutes away from the house where Micaela grew up! It ended up being the perfect place, because Rachel and Adam were able to show off their love for baseball on the park’s baseball diamond!

Q: How did you meet, and what were your first impressions of each other?

A: We met on the internet.

Adam’s first impression: I thought Rachel was funny and easy to talk to.

Rachel’s first impression: This guy is cute and we talked so much that our waiter stopped asking us if we were ready to order 🙂

Q: What made you two connect so well in the beginning?

A: How easy it was to talk to each other and how comfortable we felt together.

Q: How did you end up becoming more than friends?

A: We weren’t looking for friendship – we met on a dating app

•

Q: Who said “I love you” first?

A: That would be Rachel.

Q: What is your secret to a great relationship?

A: We have realistic expectations of each other. We also laugh – a lot. 

Q: What are the 3 best words you would use to describe each other?

A: Rachel would describe Adam as kind; supportive; driven. Adam would describe Rachel as loving; fun; and supportive.

Q: Favorite thing to do on a date night?

A: Blue Jays baseball game

Q: Favorite type of movie to watch together?

A: Romantic Comedy

Q: How did you get engaged?

A: Adam proposed to me on my birthday. He was a member at a private club and we had visited their library on an evening out, and I told him that I wanted to get married there. He took me out for dinner, we went dress shopping and then he proposed in the library with champagne.

Q: What are some things on your bucket list together?

A: Safari to Africa; owning a sailboat.
