Rachel and Adam had an intimate afternoon wedding at the Royal Canadian Military Institute. Today we are sharing their Toronto wedding photos as we look back on their special wedding day!

Rachel and Adam put so much thought into the details of their wedding day, like the engraved pocket watch and Adam’s custom suit.

Their wedding made Micaela’s book nerd heart happy – they chose to do their first look in the library, and even gave out custom wooden bookmarks as favors!

We also loved that they went straight into their first dance right after their ceremony, with all of their friends and family circled around them!

Keep scrolling to view some of their Toronto wedding photos and read about their wedding day in their own words!

From Rachel & Adam:

Q: What was your favorite part of wedding planning?

A: The dress for Rachel; designing his wedding suit for Adam. We also both enjoyed planning the rehearsal dinner.

Q: How did you feel while getting ready on the wedding day?

A: Hungover (we drank a lot at the rehearsal dinner)

Q: How did your bridal party/family help you in the beginning of the day?

A: My mom (Rachel’s mom) was utterly amazing in helping Rachel through the whole morning. For Adam, it was the five men that were required to get his tie on straight – you guys have the photographic evidence of this 🙂

Q: Did you do a first look? If so, why did you choose to do it and what was that moment like?

A: Yes, because you guys told us to 😉 Rachel took Adam’s breath away!

Q: How did you feel when you walked down the aisle?

A: Adam felt excited. Rachel felt overwhelmed and very happy all at the same time – I bawled like a baby for my walk 🙂

Q: What was your favorite song that played that night?

A: Our first dance song – Somewhere over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World

Q: What moments of your day will you never forget?

A: Rachel will never forget Adam’s vows – we didn’t write our own so when he went off script I was terrified that he was ending everything and then he said the most beautiful words that I won’t ever forget.

Q: What did you love about your vendors?

A: Chris and Micaela made everything so personal and captured everything so perfectly. They were very much part of the day, not just people behind cameras. The staff at our venue were also amazing – everything went so smooth and they were so diligent. Our cake was perfect and enjoyed for days to follow.

Q: Is there anything you would do differently?

A: Nope – we loved everything about the day. It was ours and it was perfect.

Q: What do you love the most about being married?

A: Having someone to share everything with that life has to offer 🙂

Q: Is your marriage now different from what you would have expected your marriage to be when you were first married?

A: No, there’s a little more poop and puke now that we have a newborn, but our marriage is still very much the same 🥰

Q: What advice would you give to a newly engaged couple?

A: Try to enjoy every little moment – they are fleeting, and they pass by so quickly.
