This toolkit was made with you in mind!! Each guide is fewer than 30 pages long, with only one topic per page, so you can easily find what you're looking for. You should be able to learn all the key information you need in less than 1-2 hours!
But in order to take advantage of everything, you'll need to actually apply what you're learning!
If you've never optimized your site for SEO, expect to take up to one 8 hour workday to update your site. If you're new to blogging, you'll also need about one workday to set up your blog and learn how to use it, and maybe one or two extra workdays if you need to create or customize a website theme/design for your blog. So about 2-4 days if you're an absolute beginner!
If you already have a blog and basic SEO set up, you can apply everything right away to instantly cut down the amount of time you spend blogging!
And once you've gotten the hang of our system, you should be able to write about 3-4 simple 300-word blog posts in one workday, and auto-schedule them out for the month!
Absolutely not!! The main guides in the Toolkit (Blogging Quick Start, SEO Made Simple, and Repurposing Content) are applicable to any creative business owner!
As wedding photographers ourselves, we did include lots of specific tools for wedding photographers, wedding planners, and portrait photographers - specifically some of the Blueprints and Questionnaires.
However, we have 52+ Blueprints that work for any creative entrepreneur, as well as the Blueprints for personal posts, and many of the questionnaires and email templates could be adapted for whatever type of work you do! Plus we have plans to add more in the future!
No. There are subscriptions out there where you can buy pre-written blog posts, and we want to warn you right now to stay FAR away from those! Here's why!
The main reason blogging lasts SO much longer than social media posts is because SEO allows your ideal clients to find you organically when they are searching for content you've written.
But if someone else has the exact same content, word-for-word, on their website, you'll be competing with that person for the same exact SEO (and you'll probably lose). And if you have the exact same content as 100 other people who pay for the membership, Google is going to hide your page, saying, "98 similar sites were omitted from the search results."
Your website won't even show up, so it's a total waste of your time and money!! And as a worst case scenario, you could lose the trust of clients who think you're plagiarizing other photographers, and Google might even treat your post as spam!
Blogging will always take a little bit of initial work. But we PROMISE, if you invest a little bit of time each month (or better yet, each week) into blogging, you're going to get a FAR better return on your time than if you slave away every day coming up with Instagram content.
Blog Post Blueprints are prompts for your blog posts that give you ideas not just for the title, but also for the subtopics/body of your post. Here's an example:
HOW TO CHOOSE A WEDDING DATE
⟶ Consider the weather during that time of year - do you want a fall wedding? Summer?
⟶ Consider important dates/anniversaries in your relationship
⟶ Off season (often cheaper) vs peak season (often more ideal weather but competitive dates)
⟶ Dates are often cheaper on weekdays and on Sunday rather than Saturday
⟶ Consider the sunset time based on time of year and how early you want the ceremony to be
