Hey! We're Chris and Micaela, a husband and wife team specializing in luxury wedding photography. When we're not running our full time wedding business, you can find us at Disney, cooking fancy meals for each other, or trying the cutest new ice cream place!
We were both already wedding photographers before we met and fell in love <3 And throughout our 10 combined years of shooting weddings, we've found that one of our favorite parts of the wedding experience is the engagement session.
While most wedding days operate on a bit of a time crunch, engagement sessions are more relaxed! This is the time when we will be able to really get to know you guys, and you'll have the space to get fully comfortable with us while we capture the way you interact! Our most favorite compliment ever is when our couples tell us that an engagement session with us feels more like a double date than a photo shoot! Our hope is that during your session you'll be able to forget the stress of wedding planning and just enjoy holding each other for a while 💕
Chris and Micaela are the dream team!! We were so excited to work with both of them for our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. They are truly two of the nicest people I've ever met. And their work is absolutely magical. They made us feel comfortable enough to relax and just enjoy the moments together as bride and groom :) I can't express enough how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos from our engagement shoot. Chris and Micaela are some of the best people you can know, and their love for each other and their couples they work with is very clear. Amongst all the busyness of trying to plan a wedding in just a few months, Chris and Micaela were there not only as amazing photographers, but as friends as well and even gave some ideas for our wedding. Randomly found Chris on google and I could not be happier that I did. From the beginning Chris and his wife Micaela have been absolutely wonderful. We booked them for our upcoming wedding in May and they have been so professional and helpful in helping us with our big day. the process
We know you may not be used to having photos done, so we just want to reassure you that none of the couples you see on this page are models! We seamlessly blend Micaela's posing experience with Chris's creativity and people-reading skills to pose you in a way that feels playful and natural, never stiff!
Our goal is to create genuine connection, so we can capture who you are, what you enjoy together, and the little quirks that make your love strong.
As soon as you've booked your session with us, we'll send over our style guide to walk you through selecting outfits, a location, and so much more - it even has tips on bringing a fur baby, if that's important to you! The guide should answer most of your questions, but if you need any more help or want opinions on locations or outfits, you can email us at any time!
On your session day, we'll arrive early and take a few minutes to chat and get to know you guys while we find the best light to begin photographing!
During the session we will work to make you feel as laid back and comfortable as possible. All you have to do is come ready to have fun, laugh a lot, and hold each other (which is easy if you love cuddles as much as we do!)
2-3 weeks after the session, your images will be delivered in an online gallery, where you can download and share your photos, as well as purchase high quality prints and wall art to display on your wedding day and around your home!
We can also work with you to create a custom heirloom album of your favorite images, or even a guestbook for your guests to leave their well-wishes on your wedding day!
If after the session you decide that you'd love to have us photograph your wedding as well, we'll apply the full balance of your engagement session to the package of your choice!
