Vicky and Manny’s first wedding anniversary was this week, so today we are sharing their Arlington Estate wedding photos!! Scroll through to enjoy our favorites!
Vicky and Manny prepared for their Arlington Estate wedding photos at the Element hotel in Vaughan, which was only a few minutes away from the Arlington! If your venue doesn’t have a bridal suite, make sure you choose a getting ready location that is very close to your venue so you don’t have to worry so much about travel time!
Special thanks to our talented second shooter for the day, Brittany Deanna, who styled these details so beautifully!
Vicky is a SUPER talented calligrapher! She wrote “to have and to hold” on the gold and glass ring box above, and also made the signs and decor for their wedding! She runs a custom calligraphy studio called Vtligraphy, and you should hire her for your wedding decor needs or buy one of her beautiful Christmas tree ornaments!
Manny’s suit was completely custom – he chose the fabric and all the little details in it!
Chris has always worn bowties, but Vicky and Manny’s wedding was when he first learned to actually tie them instead of just use the pre-tied ones. Chris helped Manny tie his bowtie and was so proud that he figured it out! Now if you’re wearing a bowtie on your wedding day, and you don’t know how to tie it, Chris has you covered!
We LOVE when couples use their wedding decor and details to show off their personalities! For grooms, one of the easiest ways to do that is with their cufflinks.
We’ve seen monogrammed cufflinks, cufflinks with photos, and so many more, but this was our first time seeing Star Wars stormtrooper cufflinks!! And they’re wearing little bowties! We like your style, Manny (especially Chris!).
Okay, get ready, because this is our FAVORITE part of Vicky and Manny’s wedding day!
They chose to do a first look before their wedding, and it’s basically the cutest thing ever!!
Their bridesmaids and groomsmen brought them to the first look location under the balcony of the Arlington Estate, and snuck a few peeks while it happened!
Vicky and Manny were SOOOO excited and happy to see each other!
They made the moment last, and even shared private vows written in heartfelt letters to read to one another before the ceremony.
Then we started portrait! There were SO many beautiful spots on the property for their Arlington Estate wedding photos!
Frey’s Flowers arranged these lush, romantic bouquets for Vicky and her bridesmaids. We love the way Vicky’s bouquet stands out and matches the bridesmaids dresses with pink and mauve flowers!
No Arlington Estate wedding photos would be complete without photos under one of the willow trees! Willow trees are so romantic and dreamy, especially when the light shines through the wispy leaves!
We love this little nook under the balcony! If it rains during your Arlington Estate wedding photos, you know for sure that you’ll still be able to take gorgeous photos here!
The ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears all the way through!
I just want to brag on Chris for a second, because these photos from behind Manny while Vicky and her parents walked down the aisle are SO cool! Chris has such a creative eye and is always finding new angles to shoot from so your wedding photos will be unique!
Chris is also the best at capturing the emotional moments, like when Manny wiped away a tear as Vicky walked down the aisle :’)
The officiant took time in the ceremony to honor and thank Vicky and Manny’s parents, and it was such a sweet moment.
And to finish out the ceremony, Vicky and Manny danced their way down the aisle!
The sun peeked out for a few brief moments – just long enough to take some photos with friends and family!
The Arlington Estate ballroom was absolutely gorgeous!! We love the white walls and gold accents!
And we love when our couples find ways to use their engagement photos on their wedding day, like framing them or turning them into a photo guest book!
This cake by Awesome In a Box was just filled with personality – and perfectly matched the wine barrel it sat on!
Vicky and Manny gave little succulents as wedding favors for their guests! The sticker says, “Our day would have succ-ed without you!”
They had their first dance on the custom monogrammed dance floor while their friends and family looked on…
And then laughed and cried as their loved ones shared emotional speeches and toasts!
The parent dances were emotional too, especially when Vicky’s mom and sister joined in on the dance floor!
Vicky and Manny set aside time for sunset photos during their reception, and we’re so happy they did!! Even though the day was a little cloudy, it gave them the chance to use the purple smoke bomb they brought for their Arlington Estate wedding photos!
(This was actually a throwback to their engagement session, which we’ll have to share on the blog sometime!! We had fun with smoke bombs then, too, and this last one was left over!)
And Chris found a flowering tree which he knew I would be obsessed with!! Ahhh, springtime in Canada…
They ended off the night with a fireworks display!! If you’re having an Arlington Estate wedding, you have to ask about this – it’s such an epic end to an epic day!
