Today we are sharing Lizzy and Johny’s Ruskin Florida beach wedding, in honor of their two-year anniversary! π
This wedding was extra special to us, because Johny is Chris’s younger brother! Chris was one of the groomsmen, so we both captured and took part in this wedding!
It was actually less challenging than we expected! Johny and Lizzy chose to have their wedding party sit down during the ceremony, so Chris was able to take pictures with me almost the whole time. All we had to do was make sure we had a little help to capture some of the family photos!

Q: What was yourΒ favorite part of wedding planning?
A: Being able to gather all our loved ones together to celebrate the special day!
Q: How did you feel while getting ready on the wedding day?
A: I was a little nervous and very excited! I wanted to make sure everything was just perfect! Thankfully, all my bridesmaids and Micaela helped me feel more calm as I got ready!
Q: How did your bridal party/family help you in the beginning of the day?
A: They helped me by keeping me calm as I got my hair done and helped prepare for the amazing day!
Q: How did you feel when you walked down the aisle?
A: It was very exciting and felt like a dream come true !
Q: How excited were you for the food at the reception and what did you eat?
A: The food was amazing!! I was very excited to be able to eat lol ! We had an amazing pasta station with chicken and fish.
Q: What was your favorite song that played that night?
A: Our first dance was to βThousand Yearsβ which was a very special moment! Along with playing one of my favorite songs that my best friend and I grew up to!
Q: What moments of your day will you never forget?
A: I will never forget dancing with my aunt to a song dedicated in honor of my father.
Q: What did you love about your vendors?
A: We got a package deal at our Ruskin Florida wedding venue for food, DJ, rooms. They were wonderful!
Another wonderful part of our wedding was Chris and Micaela who made the day really memorable for the rest of our lives. From the start of the morning to the very end of the day, they made sure they went above and beyond! They werenβt only photographers; they were the ones that helped us throughout the entire day! As the moments we spent living throughout our wedding; they managed to capture them all! Leaving us with those special times to be held onto forever through photosΒ forever grateful for them!Β
Q: Is there anything you would do differently?
A: I would have tried to be more calm! Lol I was very nervous and worried about getting everything done on time but at the end of the day it all comes out perfect which was thanks to Micaela and Chris due to their time schedule helping us know what to keep up with next!
Q: What do you love the most about being married?
A: The fact that you get to live forever with the person you love and creating a life together.
A: Is your marriage now different from what you would have expected your marriage to be when you were first married?
A: Yes it is however, it helps you grow and learn.
Q: Whatβs something your spouse has done to make your marriage better?
A: We match well when it comes to parenting which helps a lot!
Q: What advice would you give to a newly engaged couple?
A: Make sure to keep the love strong and nurture one another. Listen to each other and be selfless.
